June Special Offering – Rehabilitation Programs
The May special offering will be given to St. Leonard’s House and St. Martin de Porres. These agencies help people to be rehabilitated.
St. Leonard’s provide comprehensive residential and case management services to those who have been released from prison. St. Martin de Porres’ work includes shelter for the homeless and rehabilitation from drug addiction.

The Contemporary Issues group, meeting at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings, is beginning a new book. Soul Banquets: How Meals Become Mission in Local Congregation is an intriguing exploration of Christian hospitality. John Koenig combines rich biblical insight with powerful contemporary illustrations to invite congregations into a deeper understanding of the significance of shared meals. Contact Ann Audrain for a copy of the book. Everyone is welcome.
