Sunday Food and Fellowship Procedures
On Sundays of regular coffee hour a prayer will be offered by any of a group of around ten people gathered in fellowship hall. This extends to clergy but not exclusively. Refreshments can be selected after the prayer.
At first Sunday meals any member may lead the common prayer supplied at each table before the beginning of food service.
The church deacons will to supply beverages for coffee hour. Other food items will come from volunteers who are welcomed to bring their favorite item to share.
This Easter we will deliver lilies to members who are shut-ins. Contributions to the fund can be put in the special offering envelope marked for “Easter Lilies” and put into the offering plate. Make checks payable to the United Church of Hyde Park and write “Easter Lily” on the memo line. A suggested amount for one lily is $7.
